MEL MANSFIELD COMPLETES PERFORMANCE REVIEW FOR NETBALL NI.

Upon completion of the NNI Performance Review, Mel Mansfield (former Head Coach of Wasps Netball and current Technical Specialist for Surrey Storm) will be presenting her findings to the NNI Board this week.

‘I have been coaching in the English Netball Superleague since 2009, alongside my career as a senior lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire where I am also Director of Netball. I have a vast amount experience in developing players & from my 8 years leading the University programme, we have 18 players and alumni currently in the NSL.

My passion is also coach development and mentoring, as well as helping players reach their full potential, whatever that may be. Leadership, standards and culture are key for me in any environment and I am confident that the review will provide some ideas, change, suggestions and solutions for Netball NI, alongside some challenges for the organisation.

However, we are solution-focused and it is an opportunity for the start of a new era for the organisation. The review will be complete by mid – March and presented to the Netball NI board.’
