Pilates for Netball
In partnership with Formation Physio, Netball NI are hosting a series of 3 virtual pilates classes. Each class will focus on netball movements: landing/plyometric movements, ankle stability, lower leg and trunk control and shoulder mobility.
Formation Physio is led by Emma Bothwell, U17 and U21 national squad physio. We are delighted to support them during this time, whilst offering our members something that will benefit your return to the court.
The class will run live every Thursday 11, 18 and 25 June at 6.30pm via Zoom. You will also receive a link to a recording of each session to complete in your own time or catch up if you are unable to make one of the classes.
Start Date: Thursday 11 June
Cost: for 3 classes £15 Netball NI members | £20 non affiliated members
Registration Deadline: 5pm 17th June
Anyone registering after the first class will still receive access to the recording of all 3 classes
By attending this class with NNI you understand that fitness activities involve risk of injury and you are voluntarily participating in these activities and using equipment with knowledge of the dangers involved. You expressly assume and accept all risks.
To access the class
You will need to download Zoom onto your device.
The Zoom meeting link will be sent to all participants via email by 10am each Wednesday prior to the class.
Use the link or the meeting ID and password to enter the class from 6.20pm.
If manually entering the details of the meeting ID and password use the ‘JOIN’ button on Zoom’s home page. Make sure you join audio but keep your own microphone muted during class and your own video off. Your microphone and video should be muted/off automatically as you enter. ‘Pin’ the host or switch from gallery mode so that it keeps the host as a large video image rather than seeing everyone else tile. Class will begin at 6.30pm
