Netball NI seek a national head coach who is ambitious and motivated to lead the Warriors, as we transition to the next stage in our aim to be a Top 8 National Team.
This post is part time with contract duration subject to reviews, performance and funding. Since 2011, Northern Ireland have consistently ranked in the top 12 in the world, with standout performances of 7th, 8th and 10th in the last 3 Commonwealth Games and 10th in The 2019 World Cup.
There is a strong desire within the squad and Netball NI to improve further with a vision to be a top 8 ranked nation by 2025.
Netball NI would like a strong leader of people, with high standards and ambition, the ability and motivation to establish and demonstrate strong values and culture to lead the Warriors.
This person will be a positive role model and will plan and deliver an effective training programme to prepare the squad for competitions while developing upcoming netballers.
The candidate should have experience of successful campaign delivery at international or a senior premier domestic level (eg VNSL, ANZP or SSN); knowledge and experience of utilising and managing high performance support services and strong interpersonal skills.
Salary for this post will be based on experience, subject to budget.
The successful candidate will be required to have a valid Safeguarding Children and Young People certificate, and an up to date Access NI check.
