NETBALL NI is hiring – U21 Head Coach.
Netball NI is seeking to employ a part time, fixed term Head Coach to deliver the U21 national squad training programme for athletes selected onto the Northern Ireland U21 Squad, with a view to improving performance standards of Northern Ireland squads at international events and other competitive opportunities.
Job Purpose
The post holder will be responsible for developing all elements of an effective coaching programme for the Northern Ireland U21 National Squad, working towards Competition such as the World Youth Cup Qualifiers 2024 and the subsequent World Youth Cup 2025.
The U21 Head Coach will liaise with Netball NI Performance Staff and the Senior Head Coach to develop an effective coaching plan and will monitor and evaluate the programme throughout, providing relevant feedback to both the athletes and Netball NI. The post holder will most likely deliver monthly weekend camps in various locations as required for the operation of the post and delivery of the programme.
They will also ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all issues relating to the work of Netball Northern Ireland.
