Please see below updated statement from Netball NI following the Northern Ireland Executive update on Thursday 12th November:

Suspension of all programmes, events and training extended until Friday 20th November 2020 inclusive

Following the most recent announcement by the Northern Ireland Executive, the Board of Netball NI are confirming the continued suspension of all netball activity, indoor and outdoor, (excluding our Senior National Squad who as elite athletes are exempt), until Friday 20th November 2020 inclusive.

Netball NI recognise our role in supporting the continued efforts to supress the spread of the virus and protect the health and wellbeing of our netball family and the wider Northern Ireland community.

The health and safety of members, staff, volunteers and officials is and will always be the priority for Netball NI and this decision must be respected and followed by all clubs, schools and social groups.

The Netball Family have worked tremendously hard to get our sport back on court safely and responsibly, this work holds us in a state of readiness for a swift return and we are grateful for your continued patience.

Netball NI staff members will continue to work from home, therefore the office will remain closed for the week ahead.  The staff team are available on email and mobile. Please get in touch if you need any support, we are keen to keep engaged with you all and assist in any way we can with member and club off court activities and we have numerous resources available for you to access to support your physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Netball NI will continue to monitor the situation on an ongoing basis and will communicate additional updates as they arise.

Thank you once again for your continued support and we look forward to seeing everyone on court when it is deemed safe to do so.
