INF Medical Committee

The INF Board is seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals to sit on the INF Medical Committee.
The Medical Committee is advisory and makes recommendations to the INF Board to assist INF achieve its vision, values and strategic goals as outlined in the Strategic Plan, with respect to anti-doping and the health and wellbeing of the participants of netball.
Members are asked to be proactive in this process and to encourage their medical experts to apply.
Applications are invited from individuals who have skills in this highly technical area of our sport.
Medical Experience e.g:
Sports Medicine, including the Prevention and Management of injuries, Anti-Doping, International and National Event Management, International Health, Public Health, Nutrition, Other Sciences linked to Sports, Medical Administration, including Medical Sports Facility, Equipment and Data Management, Endocrinology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Research, including Biostatistical Methods, Sports Physiology, Sports Psychology and Mental Health.
Please find attached the revised Terms of Reference for the Committee which provides more detail regarding the responsibilities of the Chair and Members and the factors that will be taken into consideration during the appointment process.
Attached are application forms to be completed by candidates. An up to date medical CV is required as well. The application requires two references of your choice. Applications should be made directly to the INF.
Applications close on Friday 30th November (UK Time 5pm)
The appointment of the Chair will be made first and the Chair will be invited to participate in the appointment of Members, with final committee membership to be approved by the INF Board.
Applicants may apply to be either Chair or a Member of the Committee, or may apply for both. Existing members of the committee are encouraged to apply for re-appointment.
